Laser machine has been also used for engraving artwork nowadays,
today we are going to show you how to engraving a famous Chinese painting-eight horses on wood.

Needed items:
9mm plywood
non-oil low noise high pressure air compressor
HORSE.CDR

Machine used:
Mars130 with 100w

Suggested settings:
Cutting speed: 5mm/s cutting power: 75%/75%
Engraving speed: 30mm/s engraving power: 45%/45%
*the settings are only for reference, users need to find the best settings by testings

Step 1
Load the design to the software and set the parameters, then click Attachment 241926
to send the file to the laser cutter.

Step 2
Put the wood sheet to the machine and adjust the focal distance.
Move the laser head to the correspond place and press “origin” to set the starting point.
Then press Attachment 241930 to start your job.

Tips:
1. To make a perfect product, it is strongly suggested to do more tests to find the best power settings.
2. When engraving on wood, it’s suggested to use less air assist to the laser head,
strong air flow will make the engraving too dark.
3. When cutting wood, it’s suggested to use strong air flow to the laser head,
it will improve the cutting quality a lot.
