JUST COOLANT PROOFED MY ELECTRICAL CABINET

    Hi All.

See video - please note this was made for my own personal use only. If you choose to copy it you do so at your own risk. I suggest the system is only suitable for users who fully understand its function and it is probably not suitable for staff or students etc.

Thanks Christopher - I don't know why my link didn't open as a video.

Oh, if anyone makes something similar - please post some photos.

    Nice upgrade and solution
Awesome video also! Clean well edited with good information. So many videos its hard to filter out junk and the teasers that waste time to find the ones with good info.
    Thanks again for posting.

I use a piece of heavy clear shower curtain that is held in place by magnets along the top and left side. Curtain is loose enough that all the controls can be operated through it. Has worked nicely.

I like that idea LRF. - KISS method at it's finest. If I ever notice Coolant getting up there I'll probably do the same. Been having alot better luck with air blast only for machining all non-ferrous metals though. Need a screw compressor now!

Thanks MD. I note most people just view and move on.. 100's of views but few comments. Makes you hesitate to bother to share. Its a lot of work making and editing a video and a little feedback is appreciated

    cheers, Keen

PLEASE don't think that! It really IS worthwhile, and appreciated. I don't often comment, but DO look at most posts, and usually learn something. Hundreds of views says you've done something useful. Lack of negative comments even more so- people are quick to criticize. And, honestly, if I can't add something useful, why increase the number of posts to slog through?

Adding to the community's knowledge is always worthwhile- many views IS positive feedback. At least that's my two bits worth on the topic.

very nice keen, any plans to improve the seal around the inside of the door? or don't you think that would be needed?

Yes an interesting point. I am not sure if it leaks via the door. Now that I have the known leak points sealed I can monitor that and see if it also leaks.

    Time will tell. Cheers. keen.
