help with 120v vfd and 220v spindle replacement

    Hello,

    I have a 6040z s80 and the spindle went out. I ordered it with the 110v 1.5kw spindle . I purchased a replacement but it is 220v 1.5w.

The vfd is the one that came with the control box. It is labeled as a nowforever model d100s1r5b input is 1ph ac110v 50/60hz output 15.0A. The new spindle is from a ugracnc and is a 1.5 kw 220V 3 Phase (Inverter Output Voltage). Is there any chance I can use my current vfd? Ive had no issues with it.

Thank you all for any help you may offer.

Maybe, as long you don't want the motor to run at more than mouse power.
You did not get what you ordered.??!

Re: help with 120v vfd and 220v spindle replacement

I assumed the vfd was 120 in and 220 out but it looks like they put in a 110 spindle. I thought it was a 220 spindle. Pays to look at the motor before pulling it out and readying a replacement.
