    HELP, crusader m won't go into reveive mode

    I have a Supermax mill with the crusader M control. I've been trying to set up the rs232 to download programs to the machine from my pc. I've set up the parity, baud rate etc the same on both ends, and in the com port. I can transmit from the machine to the pc. When I try to set up the machine to receive, I get a "dwell forever" message. It's as if it won't "go" into receive mode.
    ANY help would be appreciated!

    Also when I run the rs 232 diagnostics, I get a duart fail, or uart fail message.

    Problem solved!!! I talked to Jerry at the service center, my model of crusader M is not able to dripfeed using aux 2711, it's only able to use aux 2701 and the program has to fit the memory of the machine. The good news is there isn't anything wrong with the machine, I just need to chop up the programs into managable chunks for the memory.
