    H 400 Ex 03 ATC Machine Alarm

    Anyone run acrossed this,thinking it's an electrical overload issue?

    Did it happen during the tool Change?

    Yes it did , the arm is in position to pull the tools from the spindle and the pot. Doesn't do it every time.

    Did you get this issue resolved? I am having similar trouble.

    Check the ATC door sensor on the actuator. That will give you an EX3.

    The photo eye that shoots across the magazine, showing a tool in place, wasn't switching.

    The door sensor seems to be working. After talking to Kitumura, they say all the sensors seem to working, and the computer is send the signal to the changer, so it is something electrical or mechanical. I can put in diagnostics mode, set the switch to tool changer and push exe. I can hear a relay trip, and it seems to release the brake on the high speed arm so that. I can (very carefully) move the high speed arm by pushing on it with a stick. Doesn't seem to move on its own though. The rest of the system seems to work for pulling or returning a tool from the mag. Also can't get the chain to turn (100 tool magazine). I might also add that I'm completely new to this machine. Although it has a FANUC 15m, and I'm relatively familiar with an 11T.
