    gecko g540 nema 23 425oz 2.8 amp need resistor

    hi i am new here have buy gecko g540 and 3 nema 23 425 oz 2.8 amp 4 wire .

    my question is if i need a resistor on my motor if yes i put in wich wire and how omh please

    I'm sorry that nobody ever answered your question.
    Yes you need a resistor or you can burn up your motor(s).
    The resistor goes across pins 1 & 5 - those are the 2 on the ends of the long side of a DB9 connector. The long side has 5 pins, the short side has 4 pins.
    The resistor value is driven by the amperage of your motor. In this case, you will need a 2.8k ohm resistor (1/4 watt is fine).
    Finally, the resistor is to be place on the connector that plugs into the Gecko G540.
