    G0704 spindle running in reverse

    Hi all,

I just converted my G0704 drive to timing belt and now the spindle run in reverse. To correct this, do I simply switch the motor wires on the motor controller or is there an easier way without having to re-solder the wires?

    Thanks

There should be no difference in spindle direction changing from the stock drive to a belt drive unless you did the little switch changing just the top gears to a little belt drive.
In that case if you don't want to just swap the motor wires you can change them on the terminals of the fw/rev switch.

Thank you, Hoss. Yes, I did the little belt drive. I will take a look at the switch and see if I can figure it out.
