Was using my mill last night... The Motor in the G0704 started Pulsating at All Speeds!! I Called Grizzly they said it could be either the motor or controller but most likely a signal issue on the control board? Grizzly is sending a control board right out! I am thankful it is under warranty! Is there a better controller that is plug and play?

Thanks, I was searching there was a thread about adjusting the IR pot to stop the pulsing on a different variant? When I wake up later I will give it a shot... If it works good if not then I will have a replacement in a few days. Lets just hope it is the controller!

It could be that the "torque" pot needs turned down inside the controller. I was playing with my g0704 controller trying to get more rpm, and if I turned the torque pot up too high, it pulsed. Check the vario bf20 manual for the id and location of the pots inside the controller. You may end up with 2 good controllers if grizzly is sending you another.

Replaced the Controller that Grizzly sent me and all is working as it should.
