    Fanuc 6M servo alarm

    Hi, All

I have an urgent problem with a servo alarm. After shutting down normally last night, trying to power-up this morning has produced a stubborn alarm #401. Looking it up in the book ,it says something like the velocity control for one or more axis has turned off.

Any way I can get it up and running, or is this a service call?

Thanks in advance for any help at all!

Try the resets on the drives, check the fuses and the flag fuses.

I was just having a similar problem on my 15-M.
I could get is started after about 6 tries.
Had to replace the Z board.

Hi guys, sorry for my bad English but I' m from Italy...

If you don't have red Light led On (Alarm) and if you have the 100Vac on pin 3-4 replace the MCC on POwer PCB of Servo Alarm 401 means problem on axes X or Z due to from the VRDY Signal. Usually the problem is due to the bad contact of the signal VRDY trought the MCC.

Googd luck and tell me something.

    Bye Andrea.
