    Face Mills

    Anyone have suggestions for a good face mill up to 6" and a place to purchase inserts? Aluminum is about all I Machine. I've always used valenite and had pretty good luck and done most of my insert shopping at Travers. Just looking to see what else is out there... Thanks

    Shear hogs are the best I've found for cutting aluminum, the polished carbide inserts leave an awesome finish. AB Tools Inc - Manufacturing High Performance Rotary Cutting Tools since 1977

    We use Sandvik and have never had a problem with the tool doing what the rep said it would do. Really happy with them.
