I have this Printrbot Plus that I can't seem to sell.
It has a heated bed, and 6" x 6" x 6" build size.
Since I can't sell it, I was considering buying a laser module, and mounting it in place of the plastic nozzle.
I think it would make a nice engraver, with a fair amount of travel.
Any thoughts? I would start out with a lower powered laser for wood/plastic.....Then upgrade it for metal.

Sounds like a fun plan. Sadly even a 150w bulb is not enough power. On that scale you are limited to using lasers from DVD drives with a lens to focus it, though you probably wont find many uses for it.
