Question Considering Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 42

I am looking to replace the plasma cutter on my table and have run across a Cutmaster 42 that I can purchase for $600.00.
I mainly work with 1/4" and under cr steel. I was originally looking into more powerful units however the price is making me take a closer look at this one.
Anyone have any experience using the Cutmaster 42 on a CNC table? What are your thoughts? (pros and cons)

I don't have one on a table but have owned mine for about 18 months.
I bought it specifically because it was a low cost, light weight DVI unit that had a machine torch available for it (in case I needed a backup unit).
I'm pretty happy with it and use it weekly.

I do mostly 1/4" and under also.
Consumable life is average on 240V, a bit less on 120V 20amp and again less on 120V 15amp.

Take a look at the Hypertherm brand as well. The consumable life is much better. I have a used TD Cutmaster A80 if you are interested. I would let it go for $1300.

Thanks for the input. I ended up going with a Hypertherm PM 45 for the longer consumable life as well as the higher amperage. Will be using it for the first time this week.

Hey Matt, Apparently my web host company lost a drive 2 nights ago and they are working on it. My email has been down and they were only able to restore it from a night ago. It figures, 3 years of spam and when I am looking for an email it doesn't work.
Can I give you my work email address via pm so you can resend the information until my personal email is restored or can you text the information to my cell? I will send a PM to you with my information.
