Re: Charge Pump On Mach3! HELP Please!!

Charge Pump (aka CP) is a 12KHZ square wave generated by MACH when MACH is working and it is out of reset. It is a safety signal that you can use in attched hardware to sense when MACH is ready to run and to keep any motion from happening or outputs turning on when you boot up the coputer and the parallel port is initiated in Windows. How it is use is up to what hardware you are using MACH with.

I always use the output of the charge pump/Watchdog timer in the hardwired E-Stop string, this shuts off all motive power devices until the PC is ready or in the event of a system crash.
