Question Can't get X6 to read .EPS files

Every time I try to import one of my .EPS files I get an error saying:
"Selected file could not be converted. Conversion process failed."

What do I need to do when I save my .EPS files to get MC to read them?

What software and version are the EPS files coming from ?
    - can you save the EPS in an earlier version, your software may be more later than the Mastercam version
What sort of data ( wireframe, solid etc ) are you exchanging between them ?

What other file types can your software export ?
    DXF for wireframe
STP, IGES, PARASOLID, STL types are good for solid info

I've tried exporting from GIMP 2.6 and Illustrator CS6. This is one from Illustrator if you could tell me what I did wrong.

Mastercam will only read very old versions of EPS files.
