Hello all. I have been very busy and not posted in awhile.
So here is my question is there a difference in Bobart V25 to V26 . I have Bobart Pro version 25.
Is there a good reason to upgrade to version 26.
Thank You
Don

The time has come the woodworker said to speak of many things. 0f routers and Wood , chips and paints and stains and CNC and other things.
In terms of Bobart, I'm not sure there is any significant difference. The main benefit to V26 over V25 is in the DMS system for workflow. There are other minor improvements to V26 from V25, but I think if I had V25, I would wait and upgrade to V27 instead of V26 once V27 has been out a while. There are much more significant changes all around in V27 that make it quite appealing, while V26 is a very minimal upgrade for someone who already has V25. I don't know if V27 will provide improvements to Bobart, so if you don't do much machining outside of Bobart, it may not be much of a difference for you either. What features are you hoping for in Bobart that aren't there currently? (asking just because I'm curious).
I do think there was a change. IIRC even if you had BobArt in V25, there was an upgrade cost to get the "name equivalent" in V26 as there was more functionality in V26. But this is a vague recollection, and I don't recall the specifics (obviously!).

Make sure you call your sales Rep before doing any upgrading. Recently upgraded two seats to V27 with Bobart and nesting add-ons for very little cash.
