    Automatic stock being added?

How do I stop SprutCam from adding stock to a cylinder? I am starting from a tube and want to cut the slots in it, there is no additional stock!

In the upper left pane click your machine and select workpiece from the lower pane. Then click primitive and choose either tube or turn envelope.Click image for larger version.

    Very nice!
I like carbon fiber stuff. Worried about dust from some of these materials. Do you use full enclosure to control air quality?.
My mill sets by sunny windows and I was stunned by the shiny particles you can see in the air around it when its running "non flood coolant"
Shop being part of house concerns me this stuff will migrate in home

Again awesome work, and thanks for sharing.

    Re: Automatic stock being added?

Somebody heard that I had torn down my setup... which made their new request a little frustrating, so here is the 3rd version, yet to be shortened and de-glossed.

I can only dream of having a negative pressure, externally vented enclosure, I make do with vacuum and full face mask. It is a serious issue with Carbon Fibre, I don't think you can ever get it out of your lungs and eyes can be sore for hours!

I am away from the house and the Wife is far more aware of the trail of aluminium often leave behind me, I get serious ear ache for steel swarf lest the dog suffers injury..

I have cut these with a burr and little vertical steps at quite high speed for both burr and motion, there is little to complain about for the finish from my perspective.
