ALARM 59 COMES ON AFTER PRESSING CYCLE START. iS THERE ANY PARAMETER. THE PROGRAM NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE PROGRAM LIBRARY

You didn't say whether this is a mill or a lathe. In any case, it sounds like the program is calling a sub or macro program that is not in the memory. For example, M06 may call subprogram O9001.
Please post your program so we can take a look.

How will i stop the cycle to measure a part before the next group of tools will kick in, in the tool management of a kitako lathe with fanuc 18 i controller. This is the tool management program G10 L3; P__ L __R___?. This R is not in the program but i read that if you put a value less than the tool life it will send a mesage say tool life warning. Can anyone help me pls. I need to program so that operator will be aware that tyhe next tool is coming so he /she can measure the parts

Sorry this is another problem. The alarm 59 on Fanuc 18 i already resolved.
