Check the direction wire to the driver. Probably broken, or has it never worked?
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

A loose or broken wire will cause that as Neil suggests. It has happened to me a few times, but I usually get intermittent travel direction. Meaning it will sometimes move left and sometimes right. Sometimes several button pushes moves the same direction.

    Re: A axis problem

Okay, changed motors, same problem , switched drives to check function. evrything works except which ever driver i went to still hasd one direction. using gecko drives, a smoothestepper. pmdx 126 BOB and PMDX 134 motherboard. all i can come up with now is that it has to be in the software or related to the expanded mode on the 126. has anyone else conquered this problem. i have a feeling it is quite simple( most things are when you get down to it.) thanks again-Andy
