The problem could be that the Z axis brake is on ( no voltage going to the brake to release it) and this is causing a drag on the axis drive. You should also look at the axis gain, it may be set to low. This error means that the axis is not keeping up with the control. This is a parameter in the control and it has a window that if the slide exceeds the amount it puts an alarm. Look at the axis and see if it has a mechanical bind. If it does not then look at the axis drive and gain for proper adjustment.

    Re: (9178 Excessive Following error)

    okay,
as the brake'll check more carefully though as the mechanics did the maintenance shaft in a company that specializes in this subject without slack ok now I'm seeing if there is a need to replace both bearings the Z axis

An interesting detail when disassemble the spindle motor and turn on the machine I refer to it do a test with rapid advances as G0 program the engine operate normally without giving the alarm summarizing the alarm only occurs when the load of the head exerts tensions for braking.

I am also trying a test with another younger Control Techniques but have not yet had success model drive the drive is a Unidrive model.

Are you saying that the thrust bearings for the Z axis are bad or is the brake not releasing ???

    no
    the bearings are ok
    the Z-axis drive is new.
Put a Control Techniques Unidrive model to replace the 200 MAXAX
We need to optimize the shaft
    difficulties to set the parameters

I am not sure what you mean by "We need to optimize the shaft difficulties to set the parameters." can you be more specific. Are you getting the same alarm???

    Dear Friend.
Previously we exchanged information and decided that my problem was Solve the Z-axis servo motor out of position
    Now it's alright
the machine is already running but now I am with a doubt when I generate a program in software and perform via dnc when the outline tool set in corners or curves the machine makes short breaks
need to know what command to soften the prog

You need to adjust the axis gain and balance of the servo's to match each other or slow down the feed rate.

    okay,
    The gain this correct

Do you have CT FNC manual "Control Techniques" CPS 3500?
I need data processing speed information / signals.
To make a correct Retrofitting of servo motors and transmissions.

I am interested in selling the original control, "CT FNC" if you are interested let.
MAXAX 100 units and 200 and control techniques Servant

The problem that you may be having is long block processing time if you are cutting a mold in 3 axis movement. You may need to reduce the feed rate to allow the older control to process each block and move to the next block. Did you retrofit the machine with a new control, how did that go??
