    4th axis

    Hi guys I just purchased a doosan dnm400 m/centre and I'm looking to fit a 4th axis I've contacted doosan and the price seems really high are there any cheaper alternatives out there ? Really appreciate any feed back thanks

    If you can afford it put in a fanuc 4th and 5th axis table ------this upgrade should be a new drive into the panel and programmed as a direct conection not throught an RS232 port

    if you are doing "full" 4th axis work, then a full 4th is the way to go. if you are only indexing (90, 180, 270, 0) then an rs232 m code fired indexer is the way to go.

    note, the machine must have macro B for this to work.
