380v spindle on 460v? using vfd

I have an HSD spindle salvaged from a pile of surplus, rated for 380v 100-300hz. I only have 230v 3ph and a 460v transformer available. VFD is rated 380-480v and will supply the correct freq range.

On a fixed hz motor this should work if v/hz ratio is the same but with a vfd can I run 460v to the motor(380v rated) and maintain (or shift) the freq operating range?

I cannot find a 380v transformer locally or reasonably priced, the other option available would be buying a 32v buck transformer to bring it down to 428v closer to the 10% tolerance.

In many VFD's the voltage of the motor can be set, see if it takes 380 as the motor plate voltage.
