Hi,
I have Fada 3016 with 32MP controller. I am having problem transferring programs to/from machine, and 1030-1b board will need to be replaced.


I see that there is another db25 port behind cnc controller (one male and one female actually).
Can this port be used to transfer programs between PC and CNC?


When i started working on this fadal, i found hard drive disconnected under keyboard next to the floppy drives. I would like to connect it to the controller but am not sure where to plug it. Flat cable is disconnected and laying next to the hard drive. I opened door behind screen and did not see another drive plugged in PC board.


I tried to find any manuals about 32MP controller (PC side) and could not find anything. Does anybody have any manuals about pc board for 32MP controller?

Can someone post pictures with hard drive connected to the pc board?

Yes you can communicate through the rs232 port without using the built in computer on an MP32 control. In all my years of working on these I have NEVER seen a functional PC side being used. They are always disconnected. I would be interested in putting a modern PC in its place, I've never done it, but would like to try.
